Gao Qinghai
male, Manzu, Ph.D. advisor, born in 1930, in Hulin, Heilongjiang Province. He had engaged in teaching at North-east College of Administration( former of Jilin University) since 1952, became a member of philosophy group of first-session Academic Degree Committee of the State Council in 1981, and began to admit firstly Ph.D. graduates of philosophy in 1983.He was once appointed to vice president of Jilin University, party group secretary and vice chairman of Jilin Social Sciences Federation, and so on. He had taught many students for 50 years, and his academic achievements were identified widely by academic circles both at home and abroad. Basic Marxist Philosophy (VolumeⅠ,chief-edited by Gao Qinghai) won the national award of Excellent Teaching Materials and award of Jilin Excellent Works, laid his position in reformation and innovation of philosophy theory in our country, and influenced greatly on our country’s philosophical circle. His academic monograph: Philosophy and self-consciousness of Subject won the first award of National Education Commission and the first award of Jilin Excellent Books, and his Longing for Philosophy won the award of National Books (nomination award) and the first award of Jilin Excellent Works, From 1978 to 2002 he had been writing diligently and thinking actively, and written lots of papers and works full of theoretical innovation, and his papers were republished in full by Xinhua Digest nearly every year. He had been a most representative philosopher full of theoretical innovation in Chinese philosophical circle.

Born in July 1969, in Ningxiang, Hunan Province, got Ph.D. degree in 1996. He had been in Holland for academic visiting from Oct.1996 to Mar.1997, acted as lecturer from 1995 to 1998, promoted exceptionally to associate professor in 1998 and professor in 2000.He is now vice dean of Research Center of Basic Philosophy Theory at Jilin University, and His main academic duties such as adjunct professor of the Research Center for Marxist Philosophy and Chinese Modernization, National Key Research Base, at Zhongshan University, executive director of Jilin Philosophy Institute.

Born on November 7, 1946, in Jilin, Jilin Province, Ph.D. degree. He is the president of Marxist philosophy discipline which is one of the state key disciplines in Jilin university, the president of philosophy base which is one of the national basic discipline bases for personnel development and science research in Jilin university, and the president of “Marxist theoretical innovation and personnel development ” belonging to “211 Projects”.
Main Social Duties: member of the national committee of CPPC, director of the research institute of Chinese Dialectical Materialism, member of the Philosophy Teaching and Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, member of the Academic Degree Committee of Jilin Province, vice president of Social Sciences Federation of Jilin Province, president of Jilin Philosophy Institute, member of the Jilin University Council, University Academic Degree Committee and University Academic Committee.

Male, born in Feb 1954, in Changchun, Jilin Province. He was admitted to the department of philosophy of Jilin University in 1982 as a graduate student of professor Zou Huazheng. He was assigned to teach at JiLin University since 1984 after got Master’s degree, and got Ph.D. degree in 1987. He was a visiting researcher at the university of California, Berkeley, USA, in 1994 and 1995. He is now vice headmaster of the School of Philosophy and Social development of Jilin University, professor, and also director of China Modern Foreign Philosophy Institute.

In 2000 he was admitted to the Department of Philosophy of Jilin University for Ph.D degree and chosen as a researcher at the same year. He had engaged in teaching at the School of Humanity of Zhejiang Financial and Economic College, and transferred to the School of Philosophy and Social development of Jilin University in Oct.2002.
